Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures to obtain blood samples for testing.
- Utilize Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for patient care and treatment.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and occupational health regulations.
- Document patient information, assessment data, and care provided accurately in electronic health record systems.
Skills:
- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations.
- Experience working in psychiatric or substance abuse facilities.
- Skilled in performing phlebotomy procedures for blood collection.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and protocols.
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Familiarity with various medical systems and electronic health records.
